After a year when no fund raising events by the Friend’s of Truro Cathedral could take place due to Covid restrictions, we were delighted to be able to offer an evening cruise on board the Truro Belle.

The weather held fine and thirty eight of us enjoyed a party atmosphere on board, as well as our pasty supper, as we cruised from Town Quay Truro to St Mawes where we disembarked to enjoy a visit to the pub or some cheesy chips!

The gentle return across Falmouth harbour and up the picturesque river Fal was concluded by the welcome sight of our magnificent Cathedral illuminated against the skyline.

By general agreement the evening had provided a much longed for get together amongst Friends as well as raising £489, a worthwhile contribution to Friends funds.
