Our popular annual Fal River trip had been planned for Tuesday 9th September, when the tides would permit a departure from, and return to, Truro Town Quay. Unfortunately, the day before the event, Fal River Cruises informed us that due to extreme weather conditions, the trip could not go ahead.

A great deal of effort then went into contacting everyone who had booked. Despite the disappointment, many of those who had purchased tickets chose to donate the cost rather than request a refund. Thanks to this generosity, a total of £709 was raised.
