A group of 50 Friends attended Strawberry Sparkle in the Cathedral Chapter House. We are grateful to Trudy Smith for organising it and to Members of the Social and Fundraising Team who prepared and served the refreshments consisting of strawberries and cream followed by scones, cakes and Prosecco. We also extend our thanks to Waitrose who donated the strawberries, Rodda who donated the cream and Boddingtons who discounted the cost of the jam.

The excellent entertainment was provided by our talented Cathedral Director of Music, James and our then Organ Scholar, Alfie, who played a selection of jazz on the piano and saxaphone respectively during the event. A total in the region of £800 was raised.
